Ingredients:

  • 1 beef patty (150g)
  • 1 slice of cheddar cheese (30g)
  • 1 hamburger bun (50g)
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise (15g)
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup (15g)
  • 1 leaf of lettuce
  • 1 slice of tomato
  • 1 slice of onion
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Grill
  • Skillet
  • Spatula
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Instructions:

  • Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Season the beef patty with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Cook the beef patty for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip it.
  • Place the slice of cheddar cheese on top of the patty and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the patty is cooked to your desired doneness.
  • While the patty is cooking, toast the hamburger bun on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.
  • Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of the bun.
  • Place the cooked beef patty with melted cheese on top of the mayonnaise.
  • Add lettuce, tomato, and onion slices on top of the patty.
  • Drizzle ketchup over the vegetables and place the top half of the bun on the burger.
  • Serve immediately.
