Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of whole grain bread
  • 2 slices of crispy bacon
  • 1 large leaf of romaine lettuce
  • 2 slices of ripe tomato
  • 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Skillet
  • Toaster
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Instructions:

  • Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
  • Toast the slices of whole grain bread until golden brown.
  • Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of toasted bread.
  • Layer the lettuce on one slice of bread, followed by the tomato slices, and season with salt and pepper.
  • Add the crispy bacon on top of the tomatoes.
  • Top with the second slice of bread, mayonnaise side down.
  • Cut the sandwich in half and serve immediately.
