Ingredients:

  • 1 beef patty (150g)
  • 1 hamburger bun
  • 1 slice of cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 leaf of lettuce
  • 2 slices of tomato
  • 1 slice of onion
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Grill or skillet
  • Spatula
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Instructions:

  • Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Season the beef patty with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Cook the beef patty for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired doneness.
  • During the last minute of cooking, place the slice of cheddar cheese on top of the patty to melt.
  • Toast the hamburger bun on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.
  • Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of the bun.
  • Place the cooked beef patty with melted cheese on top of the mayonnaise.
  • Add lettuce, tomato slices, and onion on top of the patty.
  • Drizzle ketchup over the vegetables and cover with the top half of the bun.
